Fruit of the Vine – A Visit to Missouri Wine Country $70

With an older vineyard designation than California’s Napa Valley, the countryside of Defiance and Augusta will be our destination for the day as we taste and sample the “Fruit of the Vine”, have a tasty lunch, and explore the quant shops of these Missouri Small Towns. We will also get a glimpse into the delicate process of making award-winning Missouri Wines. A stop at the Augusta Wood Art Gallery featuring wonderful work done by local artists will also be part of our day of learning, fun and culture. Depart SSP via Motorcoach at 9:00 a.m. and return at 4:30 p.m.

These are just a few of the day trips and extended trips that are planned through SSP (Senior Services Plus). Registration and deposits are required for ALL trips. You may register for a trip or event by calling 618-465-3298. When trips are full, you may be put on a waiting list (if enough participants are interested, a second bus for the trip may be scheduled. This includes extended stay trips as well.)
