Understanding Behaviors and Improving Communication
will be presented by The Alzheimer’s Association on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Senior Services Plus. This presentation will help caregivers learn about their loved one’s strengths, supporting needs and maintaining independence. Topics include communication and managing challenging behaviors. Fall Festival and Quilt Show, Saturday, September 20, 2008
Come join us to view Quilts from our own Piecemakers Quilting group and community participants. SSP Piecemakers will demonstrate the art of piecing a quilt together to become a masterpiece. SSP Woodcarvers will be onsite demonstrating the wonderful art of woodcarving. There will be several vendors whose work is crafted by hand. SSP Artist work will be on display for all to admire. And if that’s not enough for you…there will be plenty of Food and Fun!!
