Riverbend Faith & Action

The Riverbend Faith & Action program at Senior Services Plus, Inc. is designed to unite seniors in need of transportation with volunteers in the community who have a heart to serve. Volunteers provide transportation to and from medical appointments. The goal of Faith & Action is to unite the diversified faith communities of the Riverbend and ask them to put their faith into action by doing what we are called to do:

To reach out and serve one another as friends and neighbors.
To ease loneliness and isolation.
To make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Faith & Action provides a structure that enables those in need of transportation to connect with volunteers. We also provide a central contact in the community, making it easier for agencies and individuals to make referrals for those in need.

You can help the Faith & Action program at Senior Services Plus, Inc by doing the following:

Tell others about the program and encourage them to contact us for more information.
Become a Faith & Action volunteer
Encourage your friends or family to become volunteers
Get your church or civic group involved
Make a tax-deductible donation
