Providing Lifelines; Uplifting Seniors

Thank you to all who recently supported our Power of the Plate campaign! At this time, these donations are meeting the needs for our expanded meal program for SNAP recipients and furloughed federal workers. However - we still have many other mission-driven programs and services in need of your support! Please consider giving to our PLUS Fund, where donations are distributed to greatest need areas, such as utility assistance, transportation, community resources, home repairs, and more!

You can donate to SSP by clicking the button below or by mailing a check to the following address:

"SSP is my lifeline"

When Juanita, a SSP client, was injured in an accident, she needed a way to get to her physical therapy appointments. Our transportation team made sure she never missed a single appointment.

"SSP is my lifeline. I had an accident and had many physical therapy appointments, but I can’t drive and my children all work. I was really stressed about how to get to my appointments, but I called SSP and they were able to cover them all. I am so thankful."

Providing Juanita with transportation to her appointments is just one example of the more than 6,000 essential trips provided by Senior Services Plus last year for older adults in Madison County, Illinois.

"Please support SSP - without your support, there are too many people out there like us who need the services and couldn't get along without them"

Charlene & Dean, a local married couple, spent more than 10 years serving Jersey County, delivering Meals On Wheels to homebound older adlts and helping to transport them to and from their medical appointments.

Now - Charlene & Dean rely on those same services.

"These services mean the difference between us being able to live in our own home...and us being out on the street or trying to find someone to take us in and take care of us."

Charlene and Dean are just one story among the over 250,000 meals delivered by Senior Services Plus last year across Madison and
St. Clair Counties.
